This site is coming in existence because, one of my New Year resolutions of 1999, I had planned to have a website, of mine to communicate with my net-friends.
I don't know but I have 2 categories of my friends, one who live in my locality and I meet them (as often as once in a year);-) regularly, they are gross-friends (please don't take it seriously) and others who are not tangible, are net-friends
Some Information about my work
I work with Narmada Control Authority (NCA), as Assistant Public Relations in Public Relations Cell. This is what gives me my Bread and pleeeeeeaaaaaaase don't ask what I do for Butter, Jam and Eggs.
About my office where IMy office is kindaa.. funny, which keeps changing its identity. NCA is said to be neither pure Govt. of India nor any State Govt. organization. When I joined in November, 1990, it was told to be An autonomous body, working under Ministry of Water Resources, but recently an advertised appeared in a newspaper revealed that it is a Body Corporate. And as far as, rules are concerned, the first rule of our office is-
You show me the Face and I will tell you the RuleThe best part of my office is everybody is seems to be busy, yes including me, you wont believe but - Most of the people in the office are actually Discharging there duty, and they are In-charge of something.
Key responsibilities (but I am not a gatekeeper)
Public Relations work is a different kind of work. In this you always look as if you are not working on your desk and you are free chatting with people of the media either of Phone or on Internet or …….But in reality I feel that PR work is like a Fire Brigade work, that you are expected to be there, where you are required and give your best.
And I am still waiting for a big fire to prove my existence.
Favorite Lines
These are some lines, which I use so frequently that all the people of my Cell are really fed up listening them (there only 2 people besides me in my section)
